Damian Joseph is a highly successful Certified Teacher for the past 28 years. With a background in youth development and a passion for social change, he founded Character First Mentoring to create opportunities for youth to thrive. He believes in the transformative power of mentorship and is committed to fostering a supportive community. Having extensive experience in education and community engagement, he is dedicated to creating programs that meet the diverse needs of our youth.
Tawanda M Joseph has been in Home and Community Services since 1996 in various capacities. Having degree in Business Management, she is also a Certified Project Manager, Diversity Professional and Diversity Executive. She has also done her Master’s in Educational Technology, Curriculum and Instructional Design. She has a strong belief that through great leadership you can impact the lives of others positively. With this passion she established Character First Mentoring with Damian Joseph to empower young boys through their specialized mentoring programs.
We provide character training, development and education that provides guidance, support and encouragement through positive teaching that leads to enhanced individual character.
At Character First Mentoring; our mission is to effectively and effciently mentor boys ages nine to sixteen years of age. Recognizing that with a strong focus on character building first these young boys will be able to navigate the inevitable vicissitudes/diffculties that life will ultimately bring.
